commentary
One of three fragments found in the area of the mediaeval castle. The three fragments may or may not belong to the same inscription. See also ISic001951 and ISic001950. The difference of the form of theta in fragment 2 (ISic001951), compared to fragment 1 (ISic001950) suggests that the two are from different inscriptions; this could theoretically belong to either. Vinci (2022: 231) suggests that the top margin of this stone is preserved, but the upper part of the face is damaged and a line of text may be lost at the start. The text presumably continued below. The stone appears to become thinner towards the top.
